How are rebates calculated?

There are two common ways to calculate rebates: a fixed amount per lot, and a percentage of the spread.

Fixed amount per lot

Rebate = rebate per lot x lot size x number of trades. It suits platforms with a simple, per-instrument fixed rebate.

Percentage of spread

Rebate = spread cost x rebate percentage x lot size x number of trades. The rebate moves with the spread and is usually higher on raw-spread accounts.

Estimate with the calculator

Our rebate calculator estimates rebate per lot x lot size x trades, so you can compare brokers quickly. Actual rebates follow the broker's terms.
