What is a rebate?

A rebate (cashback) is a cost-reduction method: you link your trading account to a broker through a rebate provider's introducing-broker (IB) relationship, and the broker returns part of the commission it earns from the spread or fees to you.

A rebate does not change your spread. It returns part of your cost on a schedule, outside the trade; the more you trade, the more it adds up.
